Car Seat Checks

Child Safety Seat installation and checks are offered at the Liberty Township Fire Department Station 322, 10150 Sawmill Pkwy. Our Prevention staff is available Monday through Friday, 8:00-3:30. Please contact the Prevention Bureau (740-938-2027) to schedule your installation/check. The Delaware County Health Department also offers weekly seat checks throughout the county at several fire stations. W.H.A.L.E. Program

Through a partnership with Nationwide Childrens Hospital, the Liberty Township Fire Department is proud to be apart of the W.H.A.L.E. program. Short for We Have A Little Emergency, the program assists rescuers during emergencies by providing information specific to the child involved in an automobile accident. A sticker placed on the window of the vehicle alerts responders to check for the information card located on the back of the child safety seat.
